If you’re a car sales professional selling cars in today’s automotive market, a website is the number one tool you need to prospect for new clients.

Facebook and other popular social channels are cool, and all, but that is someone else’s platform, not yours. Someone else’s audience, not yours.

Your website, on the other hand, is your platform and the audience you build there is yours, not Zuckerberg’s.

When I sold cars in a dealership, I was able to leverage my website to build relationships, credibility and more sales around the clock.

Your website as a car sales professional should serve as a 24/7 version of you on the web. Never not working.

Your website is the salesman that never sleeps.

Here are some examples of some car sales professionals just like you who have cool sites you can use to help inspire you to create a killer website.

The car salesman behind this website is Spencer Carmell, who pushes metal all the way up in Lethbridge Alberta Canada.

Spencer is using his website to build his brand as the go-to automotive sales professional in Alberta.

His site is super easy to navigate, looks great on mobile and is easy on the eyes.

I love that he incorporates a video on the home page.

This site is another personal car salesman website I like. My friend Andrew Papoutsis is pushing Toyota’s in Pennsylvania and has taken a different approach to his personal website and brand.

Although Andrew is branding himself with his personal website, he is also branding He is positioning himself to be the local expert when it comes to buying the right car.

I think that is a unique approach that if executed consistently and efficiently will deliver powerful results.
